MELS picks up six nominations for 2018 Gala Québec Cinéma awards

Montreal, April 12, 2018MELS, a subsidiary of TVA Group, is a stand-out again with six nominations for awards at the 2018 edition of the Gala Québec Cinéma, which celebrates excellence in Quebec cinema and recognizes talented film industry professionals.

“Year after year, our professionals shine at the Gala Québec Cinéma, in the visual and sound categories alike,” said Michel Trudel, President of MELS Studios and Postproduction. “It confirms our status as an industry leader and go-to partner for the film and production industry.”

Denis Rozon, Vice-President, Postproduction & Distribution, of MELS, noted the number of nominated works in which his group was involved: “Our six nominations are spread across five films. That means we made a significant to an assortment of very different productions. We thank the directors and producers for placing their trust in us and making us part of their projects.”
